Science Foundation Ireland is celebrating 20 years of the Curious Minds Awards (formerly DPSM) this year! To mark the occasion, we are launching a campaign for your class to be in with a chance to win a STEM experience for your class.

Ever wondered why we experience fear? Or where the Earth came from? Curious Minds is calling on primary school learners to ask questions that they’ve always wanted to know about the world around them as part of the 20 Questions campaign celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Curious Mind Awards.

Teachers are invited to submit their learners’ top questions and get ready for a journey of discovery. Through Science Foundation Ireland, its partners and the science community will aim to answer the best questions throughout the month of May. Twenty of the most intriguing questions will be featured in a special 20 years of Curious Minds production.

Submit your questions on X or Facebook using #CuriousMindsSTEM or directly to SFI (curiousminds@sfi.ie) to be in with a chance to win an exciting STEM experience for your class!

Written submissions and videos of learners or teachers asking questions are accepted.

Remember, no question is too big or too small!

The deadline for submission of these questions is: Friday 31 May.
