Space Fest 2024 is a week-long STEAM celebration of space through the intersection of art and science. Programmes include creative workshops using space materials; amateur astrophotography from our own back gardens; and explorations of humanity’s impact on the cosmos as our galactic reach grows ever wider. SpaceFest is led by Greywood Arts and takes place at venues across Cork City and at the National Space Centre. Workshops and exhibits will be facilitated by scientists and artists working together, including astrophysicist and cocktail connoisseur Dr Alfredo Carpineti and Cosmic Debris exhibition creators Nicholas Care, Luisa Charles and Kerry Guinan.
