A performance in Irish Sign Language, inspired by classic science fiction 
 
Whenever a new technology promises to change our world, science fiction authors help us imagine the futures it might bring. Science fiction has always been a creative space to explore the ethical, social, and philosophical implications of emerging technologies with the potential to change the world—from robotics to space travel, television to the internet. Inspired by these creative sparks, Alvean Jones and Lianne Quigley have developed an exciting new performance in Irish Sign Language, to imagine the potential future of Artificial Intelligence. Referencing classical and pulp science fiction, PREDICTIVE TEXTS will ask what an AI future might look like.
