The Science Week festival will take place in Croom, Co. Limerick. This will be a free festival open to all members of the public and advertised throughout the Ballyhoura Region of east Limerick and North Cork. This festival will feature a variety of exhibits spanning different STEM fields. Visitors to the festival will be actively encouraged to get hands-on and engage with exhibits, talks, demonstrations and all that is on offer through non-formal and interactive education. This year's Science festival will focus on the SFI's broader mission of Shaping Our Future by adding a Sustainable Development Goal lens to all exhibits and demos. Attendees will receive an 'SDG Passport' on arrival and will be encouraged to visit as many exhibits as possible to get their passports stamped throughout the day.
