Discover Primary Science and Maths Summer Courses

Each Summer SFI Discover Primary Science & Maths programme, in conjunction with The European Space Education Office (ESERO) Ireland, offers three popular summer courses in a number of Discover Centres across Ireland. These courses are for primary teachers and are recognised by the Department of Education and Skills for extra personal vacation (EPV) days.

Each course looks at teaching science and maths through the theme of space, a topic that excites and fascinates children and adults alike and we have received fantastic feedback from participating teachers in previous years. If you're interested in attending one of our summer courses, please keep an eye on this webpage over the coming months as we will be announcing dates for summer 2019 in due course. As per previous years, teachers will be offered places on two 5-day professional development courses on a first come first served basis.
